Are you interested in taking part in this year’s Dandenong Ranges One Act Play Festival?

Gemco Players is looking forward to holding yet another friendly festival in our theatre- The Gem – from Friday, July 20th to Sunday July 22nd. This will be our eighteenth festival and it is always one of the highlights of our year.

Please read the information below carefully and then send us an 'Enquiry' requesting a DROAPF submission form and we will email it to you.

Entry Fees are $50 per play and are to be paid in full, along with your entry details by Friday, June 22nd 2012.
Cheques or money orders should be made payable to Gemco Players.

For full details of the theatre’s amenities go to thegem.org.au.  It is advised that each company provide its own sound and light crew but if this is not possible please inform us and we will provide a support team for your play.

Cast and Crew are permitted to watch the other plays in their session time, depending on seating availability.  Ticket holders will take priority in all cases.  Once a play has commenced audience will not be able to leave the theatre, therefore you will not be able to watch the play directly prior to your own.  A ticket must be purchased to attend any of the other sessions over the weekend.

Call will be 1 hour prior to your allocated time slot.  Once the session is underway please respect the other actors by being quiet whilst backstage.  If you have any major logistics that need to be discussed with the stage manager, do so 1 hour prior to session time.

Your call time will be sent to you well in advance of the weekend.  Once all the plays are confirmed and payment has been received we will finalise the schedule and send you the details, along with your final entry confirmation form.

Please make sure you fill out the Submission Form carefully as the information will be directly used for the program and any media relating to the event.  Once you have completed the form please return it, with the entry fee of $50 per play to Gemco Players, P.O Box 480, Emerald, 3782.  Make sure you state your company and play(s) along with your fees.
