Following its great success with ‘Outsiders’ and ‘Come Back for Light Refreshments After the Service’, Hobo Playhouse theatre company is returning to the hills with ‘Encounters’ which features three terrific short plays.

Upwardly

The show opens with a superb drama, Upwardly by Mark Cleary. It stars Di Addington as an aspiring actress auditioning for the role of a lifetime and it is bound to totally captivate audiences.

Tuesday's are for Bill

Director Jeff Jones says Tuesday's are for Bill features four very strong performances.

“Susan Casey and Belinda Winthrop are hilarious as the widows and I think our resident ghosts, John Piggott and Loz Clarke, will have you rolling in the aisles with their antics,” Jeff said.

Throughout the interrogation, Tom offers insight into the couple’s lives prior to and during their relationship. His story also with attacks on an uncaring and ignorant society. All is revealed in the stunning climax in the final moments of the play.

In fact, all three plays have surprise endings.

“I believe Mat’s performance in A Poster of the Cosmos is outstanding – don’t miss it!” Jeff said.
