Puppy School

Puppy Pre-school

Emerald Vet Clinic is proud to offer Puppy Pre-School Classes in conjunction with Southern Cross Animal Stars.

Socialising your pup and getting them out and about is very important for their early development.

With over 15 years of training Experience, our fun and interactive classes encourage the whole family to get involved in the training and socialisation of your new furry family member.

Puppy pre-school is a 4 week program, that covers all of the topics to help you get through the puppy times and to help set you and your puppy up for a happy future together.

We cover things like: mouthing and biting, jumping up, house training, as well as introducing basic social manners, obedience skills and relaxed compliance-using a release word.

In conjunction with the free Puppy checks that we provide at the clinic you can rest assured that this is a safe and happy environment to socialise in.

We invite puppies from ages 8-20 weeks with a minimum of their first vaccination to enrol.

Classes are held on a Tuesday evening from 6.30-7.30pm.

Please get in touch with our reception staff to book for our next class (03)5968 6600

Hosted by Dale Allen and U3A
Theatre, The Gem Community Arts Centre

Third Monday of the Month

November 20 1pm

Our Last Program for 2018 so try not to miss a very special Movie.
Today's movie is a classic musical comedy from the UK

Genevieve

featuring Dinah Sheridan, John Gregson, Kenneth More, Kay Kendall

It's time for the annual London to Brighton antique car rally, and Alan McKim and Ambrose Claverhouse are not going to let their friendship stop them from trying to humiliate each other. Along the way, some old jealousies are kindled to the point where the two men decide to have a "friendly" wager on who will be the first back to London

There will, of course, be a selection of short films to make up the first half of the program which will provide a wide range of subjects, some new, some old. We will, of course, be continuing with our 'Saturday Matinee' serial 'Captain Marvel.' Episode 7

Don't worry if you are new to the group, there is a recap at the start of each episode so you will be fully on board within minutes.

I will include trailers for some of the movies we will be seeing in 2018

Remember that as it is a U3A requirement please ensure that you bring and wear your Membership badge. There are newly updated badges available on the notice board at U3A House
Please remember to bring along some snacks to share at the interval where we can chat about movies, have a tea or coffee and prepare for the main feature.
This will be the last Cinema Classic program for 2017, we recommence in February 2018
I Look forward to seeing you there
