Every year hundreds of amazing authors submit their ten minute plays and only the top ten are performed and published. Here are the top ten plays for 2024.

The Search for Petrichor by Michael Olsen

Marlo has been in search of the fabled city of Petrichor; Templeton has always thought it doesn’t exist—but maybe, without knowing it, he holds the clue to where it really is...

 Ghost of Boyfriends Passed by Katie Lee

As her relationship ends, Sarah discovers everything might not have been as great as she initially thought it was. As she reflects on the memories of her relationship, she discovers her own strength, and ability to finally say no.

 Snow Cherries From France by Tanya Dawes

Separate from her pool of childhood memories, Saoirse (SER-sha), AKA Girl, steps back into the vivid memory of the final day spent with her childhood friend, Boy. After years of play, she is quietly gripped by the possibility of a summer romance.

Before they take a bike ride to their favourite lookout, Boy invites Saoirse to play in his treehouse in an attempt to revisit their childish games. Without her knowing, this is his goodbye before heading off to a summer job from which he never returns.
Saoirse steps out of the memory-scene to share her story with the audience. Her earnest attempts to uncover his romantic feelings rub up against his design to capture the memory of their enchanted childhood. Girl navigates the future as Boy holds on to the past. As the day draws to an end their fate and feelings are revealed.

A mother interrogates her daughter's new boyfriend with hilarious results. A fun comedy playing with stereotypes...and knives.

 Me Time by Jennifer Pacey

While enjoying pamper day, three friends discuss the importance of “me time”. But it is tricky. One may need to resort to extreme measure to get some.
