Ross Schnioffsky – Music and Film Historian presents an informative and entertaining illustrated talk of the Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash friendship in the early 1960s. The talk will touch on the correspondence and admiration the two legendary American troubadours had for each other. Cash already an established voice, and the emerging Bob Dylan connected intellectually and creatively.
This will be an insightful and important context to Benoit's performance of Dylan's classic second album, The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan, which follows the talk.
The talk is free if you have a ticket to the Classic Album performance, or $10 for the talk only. (note ticket prices are pre-GST and fees)
